Brittany Expert is the work of Wendy Mewes, author of nine books about Brittany, including Discovering the History of Brittany, the Nantes-Brest canal guide, Walking the Brittany Coast and a general guide to Brittany, with accommodation and restaurant reviews, published by Footprint in 2010.  

She has lived in Finistere for many years and is a professional guide and experienced walker. Filmed by French TV for her work on the Nantes-Brest canal, she has also broadcast a series on Breton history for Spotlight Radio.
